Artist's Comments

This is the Scandenavian god of darkness, the blind Hoder, Baldur's twin brother. He was a pawn in Loki's plan to kill Baldur, as he was blind. In my story-thing, after Baldur gets sent to Niflheim, the underworld, Hoder runs to a quiet temple sanctuary, and develops his "inner eye" and later can "see" around uisng his mind.

I couldn't be bothered colouring in this one, but decided to liven it up with bleeding eyes and blood red leaves.

Dun colour it the red works a good contrast and gives it a mysterious feel, like we're spying on him through a tree. Not that I would do that though :)
I also like how u leave out pupil's sometimes but darken the eyes, it brings attention to the eyes with out making it muddy as its a small picture. And it doesn't really look like he has his eyes closed either.

O.o Heheh is his zipper open? Again? :P Not that I'm complaining

How did you do the leaves? Ooh and I jsut noticed he's on his knees. Go Androgeny (sp)... No m6y posts arn't random
